Tier 6 — Challenge 001 — The Oscillating Streetlamp

A streetlamp flickers periodically.
Its brightness follows the model:

B(t) = 40 + 15 sin(πt / 6)

Where:
• B(t) = brightness level
• t = time in seconds

Questions:

1. What is the maximum brightness the lamp reaches?
2. After how many seconds does the lamp first reach maximum brightness?
3. What is the period of the flicker cycle?

Show your reasoning using the structure of sine functions.
